デザインの過程において既成のもの、そして、それを取り巻く現状は
どうなっているのかを検討する必要があった。
既に完成されていた。なにも手を加える必要はない。
でも、それは使いたくなかった。

スイッチ本体をどう固定するか? 施工のしやすさは?
電気の施工はプロの世界。資格がなければ入れない。
プロなら見ればわかる。
そんな条件がこの枠にはすべて備わっていた。

その場に馴染むようなデザインが理想。
透明であることは単に金属枠を魅せるということだけでなく、
壁面のテクスチャーにそっと馴染ませることができる。
ひとつの答えがここにあった気がした。

On those terms everything was put into this frame. Design that makes it soak into the place.
That is ideal. Being transparent means not only that it fascinates the metal frame,
It can be gently matched to the texture of the wall.
